Pastoral ministry is always a mix of joys and sorrows as we participate in God’s transformation of His people. Every pastor will face unique challenges and temptations that require wise counseling. Yet many pastors and religious leaders avoid counseling because if people in their church found out, they will lose credibility and simple because they don’t want to deal with it.

Every pastor should consider seeking out counseling, even if you are not currently in a crisis as it will help you in your pastoral career.
